Cilliers Aviation has a story rooted in passion, craftsmanship, faith, and family.
Founded in 2016 by Warren Cilliers, the company was built on decades of aviation experience and a deep love for airplanes—especially aerobatic aircraft. Warren brought a unique background to the business: classically trained as an air force mechanic in South Africa, later fully FAA certified in the United States, and known for meticulous workmanship and high standards.
Before launching the company, Warren worked in elite aviation circles, including serving as a technician for Red Bull Air Race Team 99 with Michael Goulian. That experience sharpened his expertise in high-performance aircraft and helped shape the company’s reputation for precision maintenance and professionalism.
Based at Palatka Municipal Airport in Florida, Cilliers Aviation quickly became known for:
- Aircraft sales and brokerage
- Annual inspections and maintenance
- Avionics upgrades and installations
- Composite and fabric repairs
- Prop balancing and specialty services
- Expertise in aerobatic aircraft such as Extra 300 and GameBird GB1
- General Aviation Aircraft
But more than aviation, the company has always been about people. Warren and his wife Janette Cilliers built the business as a family operation centered on trust, honesty, and service.
After Warren’s tragic passing in November 2025, many assumed the company’s story might end there. Instead, Janette stepped forward with the help of her amazing team Matt Chapman, Colin Davidson, Kevin Corbin, Jonah Luteran and Angelo Padilla to continue his legacy. She has worked to keep the doors open, care for customers, and move the company into its next chapter.
Today, Cilliers Aviation represents resilience—a business carrying forward the standards Warren created while building for the future. It’s not just an aviation company; it’s a legacy in motion.
